What We Are
PA Gun Trader is an online classifieds platform built specifically for Pennsylvania — connecting private sellers and licensed FFL dealers with buyers across the Commonwealth. We're a listings platform, not a firearms dealer: every transaction happens directly between buyer and seller, off this platform, and where the law requires it, through a licensed FFL transfer.
Why We Built This
We're Pennsylvania natives who enjoy shooting, and we got tired of general classifieds sites that aren't built for firearms and national marketplaces that don't understand PA's specific rules, counties, and dealer network. PA Gun Trader started as a simple idea: give PA buyers and sellers a place that actually works the way firearms are legally bought and sold here — with clear guidance, verified dealers, and straightforward tools for staying on the right side of the law. This was never meant to be a big commercial venture. It's a place to connect people, find great deals, and make buying and selling firearms in PA a little easier.
How We Make Money
PA Gun Trader runs on modest subscription and membership fees, not commissions or transaction fees — just enough to keep the platform running. Every seller can list for free within our standard limits; optional premium tiers unlock additional listings and features. See our Membership page for details.
Trust & Verification
FFL dealers on PA Gun Trader go through a verification process before receiving a Verified badge, including confirming their federal firearms license and business details. Buyers and sellers can also leave reviews after a completed transaction, building a public reputation over time.
